If you think you’ve seen a GMC Denali Ultimate, think again. We get a lot of incredible trucks through our shop, but this 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali Ultimate Diesel is, without a doubt, the "sickest" and "baddest" one we’ve gotten in yet.

While the standard Denali Ultimate is already the pinnacle of truck luxury, we took this one to the next level with a custom stance and a serious blacked-out treatment that sets it apart from anything else on the road.

Here is a breakdown of the build and why we freaking love this truck.

The Exterior: Aggressive, Blacked-Out Stance

The standard Denali Ultimate comes with a lot of bright chrome. We changed that. This truck features the signature Vader chrome front end, but we took the blacked-out theme much further.

Key Exterior Modifications:

  • Wheels & Tires: We fitted a set of 20-inch Fuel wheels wrapped in aggressive 35-inch Nitto Ridge Grappler tires. This combo looks incredible against the black paint.

  • Stance & Clearance: To fit those 35s and give it more ground clearance, we removed the front valance. We also did some minor trimming to the fender liners to ensure absolutely no rubbing, even when driving.

  • Chrome Delete: We blacked out the mirror covers, the Denali HD badging on the doors, the edge of the running boards, and all rear GMC and Denali emblems.

  • Smoked Marker Lights: We swapped the factory orange fender marker lights for smoked LED versions to complete the stealth look.

Factory Ultimate Features: It still retains the features you love, like the painted-to-match bumpers, LED headlights and fog lights, and the amazing MultiPro tailgate with the built-in Kicker audio system. It also features the optional—and very cool—light-up GMC emblem on the grille.

A note on the fender flares: This truck currently runs the standard plastic wheel arch moldings. While you can order painted-to-match flares, with the wider stance of the 35-inch tires kicking up rocks, the plastic is actually more durable for keeping the truck looking fresh.

The Interior: Ultimate Luxury with Rare Options

Inside, you get the signature Alpine Umber dark brown leather interior that defines the Ultimate trim. It’s loaded with massage seats, a suede headliner, a power sunroof, and the full technology package.

However, this specific build has a few rare options you don’t see on every Ultimate:

  • Light-Up Sill Plates: A sweet chrome option where the "Denali" script illuminates when you open the door.

  • Sport Pedals: Optional chrome pedal covers that add that extra touch of high-end detail.

The back seat offers heated seats, plenty of vents, and under-seat storage that features a cargo divider—perfect for keeping gear secure.

Performance and Capability

Under the hood is the legendary, stock 6.6L Duramax Diesel engine. It’s a powerhouse ready for towing, equipped with the gooseneck/fifth-wheel prep package, diesel exhaust brake, and integrated trailer brake controller.

Pro Tip: When driving these trucks, we highly recommend running a Banks Pedal Monster. It plugs into the OBD and completely eliminates the "dead pedal" lag, making the truck feel much more responsive.

Why This Build is the "Baddest"

This 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali Ultimate is the perfect blend of top-tier luxury and aggressive, custom style. With only around 8,500 miles, it’s practically new, but it comes already fitted with $4,000–$5,000 worth of wheels and tires, saving you the hassle of the build shop.

If you are looking for a diesel truck that stands out from the sea of standard Denalis, this blacked-out beast is it.
